Where the chemistry happens…

BASF Coatings is a leading supplier to global automotive OEM market. About one in every three vehicles on the road has BASF coatings. We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new sustainable automotive OEM coatings for the North American automotive markets.

You Create Chemistry By...

• Developing next generation state of the art OEM coatings including low bake and UV curable technologies
• Developing sustainable paint application method including overspray-free technology
• Completing technology submissions and approvals from OEMs
• Communicating effectively with key stakeholders internally and externally

If you...

• Have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science, preferably with 1-2 years’ of experience in automotive coatings
• Have organic/polymer chemistry knowledge and ability to apply creative chemistry in coatings materials science
• Have experience with statistical analysis and Design of Experiments to solve scientific problems
• Have a positive and teamworking spirit
