With direction from the Business and Account Management NA, the Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the BASF Electronic Materials business with key NA customers and strategic partners in the semiconductor industry.
The specific responsibilities are included but not limited as follows:
- Identify industry specific requirements, unmet customer needs, and key growth drivers
- Develops industry specific strategy and product positioning strategy for assigned market segment including value proposition
- Collects and validates market and competitive intelligence per assigned market segment
- Leveraging your expertise gained from past technical roles, you will provide technical support to venture new applications or new product development opportunities with both customers and strategic partners in the area of semiconductor manufacturing for the formulated cleans and etchants applications.
- Motivate and inspire creativity and manage abstract concepts and ideas
- Utilize your strong influencing and leadership skills in a highly creative environment spanning across NA and globally to lead and collaborate with other internal departments such as Sales, Supply-Chain, R & D, Product Management and Manufacturing.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of cleans technology in silicon processing.
- Ability to effectively communicate detailed and precise technical requirement, procedures, and results in written and oral formats.
- Management experience in directing, coordinating and managing team activities to accomplish highly technical tasks.
- BS or a higher degree in a technical field is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of total working experience in business or technical capacity
- Proven ability to interface with key customer representatives in technical disciplines preferred
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate detailed and precise technical requirements, procedures, and results in written and oral format.
- Self-starter, ability to work with limited supervision to achieve targets
- Excellent communication and organization skills required
- Ability and willingness to travel, minimum 25%

Salary : $82,700 - $105,000
