As Fixed Equipment Planner for our 500blk CP/CI Business Units, you will build a meaningful career while supporting BASF’s Chemical Company in Freeport TX.
As a Fixed Equipment Planner, You Create Chemistry By...
- Managing unplanned work and developing job plans to drive work execution efficiency and asset availability.
- Possessing leadership ability as you will review and determine the appropriate degree of planning following planning guidelines.
- Creating Task list’s, reservations and or requisitions in SAP following vendor procurement strategy.
- Focusing on efficiency, you will build planning job packages per guidelines to maximize productivity and are required to Identify permitting/isolation requirements and take potential production and EHS risks into consideration when preparing job plan.
- Collaborating with Maintenance Supervisors and Engineers to maintain spare parts, build and maintain Bill of Materials and analyzing planner feedback forms and taking action.
- Applying your prior work experience in a plant maintenance environment, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the execution of maintenance plans, including materials used, man hours, sequence of activities, and support services.
If you...
- Hold a HS Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of petrochemical experience.
- Have 5 years of fixed equipment hands on, working in maintenance and repair of towers, exchangers, tubular reactors, incinerator’s, drums, piping and valves.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of Fixed Equipment Planning experience using SAP and the ability to procure and expedite materials and resources.
- Are willing and able to work overtime, weekend work and Holidays when necessary.
