POSITION PURPOSE
The Loyalty Operations Associate is responsible for end-to-end quality assurance and execution of all marketing offers across multiple brands within the Bashas’ portfolio. This role addresses routine and moderately complex system issues from the input source through store execution, including liaising with third-party partners to ensure proper execution of multiple loyalty programs. The Loyalty Operations Associate acts as a point of escalation and communication to vendor partners, Category Managers, and Bashas’ Service Center to continuously improve offer quality, resolve offer data discrepancies, and ensure proper vendor billing on behalf of the Enterprise Loyalty team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. *Tests and researches routine to moderately complex system or file issues.
a. Performs quality assurance on files incoming from both internal and external teams.
b. Works with IT to validate that each campaign loads properly.
c. Verifies that offers and receipt messages function correctly in test register environment.
d. Verifies that images are present and current for all online offers.
e. Performs data audits for direct mail campaigns.
f. Provides feedback and input on ways to improve QA processes.
2. *Acts as liaison to Category Managers and vendor partners on product selection, offer quality, and execution timelines.
a. Drives relationship with Category Managers to evaluate product selection, offer data quality relative to active product lines, offer discount values, and image accuracy.
b. Maintains offer calendar in coordination with Category Management and vendor partners that includes timelines for offers to be entered and tested. Communicates impending deadlines to team.
c. Audits e-Contracts and acts as liaison to vendor partners to identify and correct database issues.
d. Works with internal and external partners to update offer quantity requirements.
e. Resolves questions or problems and refers more complex issues to Loyalty Program Operations Manager to prevent errors from being loaded into the system.
3. *Responsible for building and maintaining all non-automated Marketing offers for ad-hoc promotions including holiday promotions, local campaigns, store contests, and team member rewards.
a. Updates and extends production dates for long running offers.
b. Updates Product Groups for long running offers.
c. Acquires and downloads UPC’s for printed barcodes.
4. *Supports leader in the maintenance of database quality through auditing, data enrichment, and scoring.
a. Supports data profiling and assessment of data for consistency, uniqueness, thoroughness, and logic.
b. Helps resolve identified issues with business stakeholders (both internal and external).
c. Audits offer invoicing to ensure accurate vendor billing.
5. *Gathers information on problems identified at the direction of the Loyalty Program Operations Manager or Brand Manager.
a. Assists Bashas’ Service Center and TAC with customer inquiries related to loyalty program issues.
b. Validates and maintains database fields.
c. Reviews database lines to detect errors in fields.
d. Reports potential issues to supervisor.
e. Implements solutions approved by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or G.E.D and a minimum of one or more (1 ) years’ marketing, data entry and/or general office clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE: · General knowledge of office procedures. · Computer programs such as MS Excel (basic functions).
SKILLS/ABILITIES: · Performs detailed data input to post marketing offers to loyalty program participants. · High degree of accuracy required to ensure accuracy of database. Basic ability to: · Learn loyalty program policies and procedures. · Discern issues with data presented and bring issues to the attention of supervision. · Manage time so as to be able to complete sufficient volume of work during the shift. · Work well in a team setting independently and as a group. · Provide effective coaching and training to others
