Here's what you will do:

Job Summary:

The Travel Technician is responsible for installation of Patient Monitor equipment in a healthcare environment across the United States. This position requires Mon-Fri travel every week, year round. It is ideal for those looking to travel the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel to facilities each week at the request of the manager
  • Work with Network Technician to install and connect equipment to the network.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connection issues
  • Perform timely workstation hardware installation
  • Maintain records for installations and expenses

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of hardware and applications including but not limited to: Windows Server OS, Microsoft Windows OS, MS Office suite, Asset management, computer imaging software, PC hardware, printers, and other networked equipment.

Desired certifications (Not required but a definite plus):

  • A ,

  • Security ,
  • MCSA

This is an entry-level position in a healthcare/IT hybrid environment. Employees must be able to lift 50lbs, stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time, and perform duties in said environments.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • IT support: 1 year (Required)

  • East Peoria, IL 61611: Relocate before starting work (Required)

  • 100% (Required)
