QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven customer service skills
- Proficient in basic computer knowledge
- Typing skills
- Receptive to feedback & ability to retain knowledge
- Capacity to empathize with a diverse clientele
- Self-driven, highly organized and clean, works independently, attention to detail, open to learning
- Background in medical field/knowledge medical terminology helpful but not required
- No prior experience required
- Willing to partner with the right applicant on achieving CPO, CPOA & CPOT certifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Corresponding with patients, external clinics, and insurance companies
- Performing preliminary vision evaluations and recording results in electronic health records
- Ocular imaging using advanced equipment
- Contact lens dispensing and correspondence
- Scheduling appointments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
COMPENSATION
Starting $16 an hour with a pay increase after the successful completion of first 90 days of employment, 401K, vacation, health & vision benefits, employee discounts
