What are the responsibilities and job description for the DC Trainer position at Bass Pro Shops?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Self-starting professional to provide training for associates including, but not limited to: new hire training, department specific training, MHE & equipment training, cross training, and retraining as required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
Onboard new hires and train them on our policies and procedures Works with Supervisors and Operations Managers to develop creative ways to deliver a consistent training message to all associates Conveys the importance of customer satisfaction Train and educate associates on power equipment while emphasizing safety Responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of new trainees Keeps detailed records of training sessions conducted and completed for and by all trainees and any issued certifications Periodically performs the various jobs within the Distribution Center as needed Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Warehouse equipment experience preferred Experience with multiple departments Comfortable presenting in a group environment Strong, proven leadership and motivational ability Maintains a positive attitude Possesses an ambitious drive Detail orientated Quality orientated Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of safety methods and procedures Equipment certified
