What you'll do

The Medical Assistant will work Full Time, Days and will be responsible for providing clear, accurate, timely communication to nurses and providers regarding patients.

  • The Medical Assistant is responsible for accurate, appropriate scheduling of patients for optimum care and provider efficiency.
  • As a Medical Assistant, you will have direct patient care responsibilities.

What we need from you

Bassett Healthcare Network follows the New York State and New York State Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers. This mandate requires COVID-19 vaccinations for personnel working for or on behalf of our hospitals and nursing homes.  The New York State mandate allows for medical exemptions and religious accommodations, when appropriate. All candidates who accept an offer from Bassett Healthcare Network will be required to show proof of vaccination as required by New York State.

 

Education:

  • Associates degree OR higher may be substituted for one year of relevant work experience.

Experience:

  • 1 year of relevant work experience required.
  • Customer Service experience is preferred.
