The Pharmacy Budget Analyst will work Full Time, Days and performs data analysis and advises pharmacy leadership and staff on various financial aspects of pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Budget Analyst ensures the department is on track to meet financial goals by monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the department The Pharmacy Budget Analyst will have a working knowledge of the pharmacy operations in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, community and clinic settings. The Pharmacy Budget Analyst will have a strong knowledge of the 340b drug program and acts as a liaison between finance, pharmacy leadership, and pharmacy teams. The Pharmacy Budget Analyst works closely with pharmacy leadership to determine and implement best practices for preparing the annual budget and reporting on monthly variances to leadership.
The Pharmacy Budget Analyst is responsible for coordinating the business and finance activities of the Department of Pharmacy with direction from the Pharmacy Leadership Team. The Pharmacy Budget Analyst will collaborate closely with departmental and organizational leadership to continually assess and direct a wide range of issues, including operational, budgetary, long-range planning and project development. The Pharmacy Budget Analyst displays a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Possesses a thorough knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to health care reimbursement and compliance, and contract management. Requires discretion and judgment to organize priorities, complete tasks and handle confidential information.
