Your Role At Batesville
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and directing quality assurance programs designed to ensure continuous improvement of products and systems for the operations team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will deal directly with customer concerns and direct problem-solving activities to address these concerns. A hands-on approach and solid knowledge of quality systems and problem-solving tools will be required to be successful in this position.

- Investigates and assures corrective actions are identified and implemented.
- Assists in developing quality plans and changes to existing products to improve quality to customer.
- Develops and implements standards to assure repeatable, reliable processes in our operations.
- Focuses on customer satisfaction.
- Serves as Customer Liaison between the plant and our customers. Customer interface onsite and off to investigate and correct customer issues.
- Manages engineering support staff to analyze Quality trends to determine the root cause and necessary countermeasures.
- Responsible for inspection methods, analysis, testing and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Analyzes and reports quality issues, trends, and countermeasures to upper management through policy deployment.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Union experience
- Possesses growth potential
- Cross-functional experience
- Lean or Six Sigma training and/or certification is strongly preferred
- CQE is a plus
- ASQC Certification
- ISO 9000 experience
