What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Coordinator position at Bath & Body Works?
The Distribution Coordinator is a highly organized individual who plays an essential role in MSO operation completing the required loop-closing steps pertaining to OTC (Over The Counter) Supplemental Benefits offered in the ACO REACH program to enrolled members.
The Distribution Coordinator is responsible to perform a series of activities to complete the ordering and delivery process for OTC items requested/ordered by members, these activities include receiving and recording patient orders, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, tracking inventory information and availability, fulfillment of orders, etc.
This position requires good communication and public relations skills to build rapport relationship with external vendors to facilitate a smooth OTC distribution process. The Distribution Coordinator will work independently with minimal supervision and be the main contact for both internal and external stakeholders related to inventory control and OTC distribution center performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Receive and verify incoming OTC orders placed by members enrolled in the ACO REACH program.
- Confirm member eligibility and complete the order placement process to enable the system-generated Care Coordination record and follow up activity.
- Manage and update the OTC inventory records using various database; coordinate with NEMS purchasing department for inventory control and backfill of OTC supplies.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues in inventory management and fulfillment processes.
- Complete the order packing and shipping process according to established ACO REACH In-Kind Benefit policies, procedures, and turnaround time requirement.
- Coordinate delivery with vendors and monitor shipments in transit.
- Identify deficiency of the OTC distribution workflow and suggest/implement process improvements.
- Support in developing inventory and/or order fulfillment reports as needed.
- Perform other job duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a 2-year Associate degree from an accredited institution; may be substituted by high school diploma or GED certificate with relevant work experience in healthcare related field, e.g., pharmacy, DME vendor, mail distribution center, etc.
- Experience related to warehouse operations, volume distribution center operation, pharmacy mail delivery operation or similar is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Must be attentive to detail.
- Must be able to read small prints.
- Must be able to stand or sit 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Friendly and helpful phone demeanor
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in general office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office is a plus
LANGUAGE:
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English.
- Fluency in other languages are an asset.

This is an FLSA Non-exempt position.
