We specialize in health promotion and disease prevention by offering individuals programs to achieve or maintain a healthy lifestyle..
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use appropriate technical knowledge and clinical judgment in observing client's reactions to exercise
- Able to perform client orientation to include equipment use, facility rules, and client cleaning requirements.
- Working knowledge of Shapenet for basic functions including scheduling, registration, and billing.
- Follows departmental procedures and reports any unusual incidents to supervisor as appropriate to facility policy and procedures
- Coordinates and reassesses schedule with the supervisor and other staff members throughout the work day as needed.
- Maintains adequate knowledge base regarding cardiovascular and respiratory precautions.
- Participates in required and elective educational activities to develop and maintain skills and completes them in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Satisfactory completion of job training
- Current CPR certification
- Completion of exercise or nutrition related certificates
- Experience with older adults preferred
