Job Description
As a pharmacy cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions at the pharmacy counter. You will assist customers with their purchases, process payments accurately, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Ringing sales on the register, entering credit card transactions, and maintaining log books
Ensures proper level of OTC products. Successfully orders and restocks shelves. Keeps OTC area clean and orderly
Demonstrates ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous Cashier experience (preferred)
Knowledge of HIPAA (preferred)
Basic computer skills (required)
Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling (required)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Pharmacy cashiers typically work in a retail pharmacy environment.
May be required to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds).
Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
