What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Marketing position at Bath R Us?

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced VP of Marketing to lead the organization’s marketing ventures. You will be working closely with executives and department heads of Hyper Home Solutions, parent company to Bath R Us and Window City Pros. The Marketing Director will provide leadership to staff on marketing initiatives and have the unique opportunity to shape strategy and drive growth for the next phase of expansion in the marketplace.

Overseeing a team of marketing professionals, you’ll lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and programs aligned to strategic business priorities. This includes the successful creation and execution of marketing campaigns, resource management, investment decisions, event sponsorship, creative directions, and marketing relationship management.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for the job and ability to create enthusiasm in others. The role will be responsible for best-in-class marketing operations and will play a leading role in creating and managing a plan to achieve sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the development, communication, and implementation of marketing campaigns and activities for inside sales, trade shows, websites, print media, email, advertising, and social media.
  • Motivate, coach and develop a team of marketing and event coordinators to maintain brand integrity through compelling campaigns.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and/or competitive advantages.
  • Analyze competitive markets in order to develop and implement strategies that differentiates our company in the marketplace.
  • Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy.
  • Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
  • Play an integral role in leading brand awareness efforts in every aspect of marketing.
  • Create and review KPIs to analyze metrics and goals.
  • Must be comfortable with occasional travel.
  • Completes marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals.
Skills
  • Previous experience in home remodeling, construction, or service based industry
  • Previous B2C experience
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Director
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field, preferred but not required
