Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Decision Sciences Department of the Energy and Environment Science and Technology (EES&T) is seeking a Operations Research & Analysis Group Lead, You will will report to the Manager of the Department.
Our team works a 9/80 schedule on campus or remotely with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities
Perform Department Manager duties, including attending and conducting meetings, providing department information, approving timesheets., in the absence of the Department Manager.
Provide the Department Manager input on quarterly staff performance reviews including appropriate critical feedback, personal goal-setting, and career development.
Assist the Department Manager in creating, updating, and implementing a strategy for the group.
Assist the Department Manager by overseeing talent development, including recruiting new staff and retaining existing staff, and identifying professional growth opportunities for group members.
Ensure the work within the group is performed safely, within budget parameters and appropriate scope.
Maintain the group's existing technical capability base; identify and build new group capabilities associated with the mission area; acquire and implement technical programs.
Demonstrate technical leadership within the group's area of study/discipline.
Provide input for weekly department updates for assigned group projects.
LP0300 - Advanced degree in related field with 3 years of relevant experience or PHD and 2 years.
LP0400 - Advanced degree in related field with 6 years of relevant experience or PHD and 4 years.
A background and understanding of operations, economics, logistics, and supply chain research is required.
A developing publication record in the aforementioned technical research areas.

Salary LP0300 - 220 ($110,316 - $181,956) LP0400 - 230 ($124,368 - $211,596)
