Job Description Summary: As the Pricing Analyst for Continental Battery Systems, you will be responsible for managing the pricing integrity of 5k items and 100k customers, working cross functionally with sales while also contributing to maintenance of pricing data in systems, the roll out of pricing strategies, ad hoc analyses, and continuous improvement. Working with the Director of Pricing and Pricing Manager this role’s primary responsibility is pricing operations, which is working to resolve pricing issues for the organization. This requires a blend of customer service and analytic skills and is great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems directly with internal customers like sales while also growing their ability to work within big data environments. Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team and general inquiries from the organization. This requires daily maintenance of the queue, customer service type interaction with sales, and resolution of issues within NetSuite ERP and other systems.The ability to learn and champion the way pricing strategy is constructed and executed within the organization in order to provide support that contributes to profitability.Ability to work as part of a highly motivated and performing team, contributing to the success of our goals and key performance metrics.Maintain data processes that include standardized operational reports and dashboards in Tableau, processes built within SQL and Alteryx, and ERP maintenance in NetSuite. While immediate proficiency in these exact tools is not required, the ability and desire to learn advanced tools over time is necessary.Ability to conduct analyses and ad-hoc projects using Excel and other advanced data tools to answer pricing related questions, solve issues, and maintain profitability of products and services.Evolve the pricing strategy, analysis, and cadence into the current documentation and operational standard operating procedures.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Information Systems or another business-related field. Since this is a foundational role, it is often not the best fit for experienced leaders or those with advanced degrees.
