Description
Duties will be assigned by management for building maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Performs general, routine custodial duties in office and industrial plant.
2. Operates floor scrubber.
3. Performs exterior seasonal tasks.
4. Assists with office/production rearrangement.
5. Operate fork lift as needed to empty trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
6. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
7. Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
8. May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.

Requirements
Education:
1. High School diploma or GED required.
Training Requirements:
1. Minimum two years commercial cleaning experience
2. Minimum two years operating a forklift.
3. Must be organized.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
1. Ability to understand verbal instructions.
2. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
3. Ability to operate power sweeper and other related equipment.
4. Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
5. Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
6. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
7. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
8. Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
Physical Requirements:
1. Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job..
2. Regularly required to sit or stand, bend stoop, climb and reach.
3. May be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Personal Protective Equipment:
1. Safety glasses required while in manufacturing areas.

Work Environment:
1. The employee will work in production environment on concrete surface with adequate lighting.
2. There will be occasional outside work duties.
3. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
4. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Salary : $24,400 - $30,900
