Here is your opportunity to join one of the best eye care practices in North Carolina, and one of the remaining few not affiliated with a corporation. We don't hire often because we do what's necessary to keep long-term, dedicated team members. Our office is busy and fast-paced with a loyal patient following. As such, patient (customer) service skills are critical.

Required duties:

  • Testing patients with equipment, preparing them for the doctor
  • Patient communication and education
  • Take orders from doctor and perform them efficiently
  • Contact lens training
  • Optical (eyeglasses) assistance
  • Front desk assistance – phone calls, scheduling, dispensing contact lenses

Required skills:

  • Great communication skills are a must - if you can't smile when busy, don't apply
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and personalities
  • Multitasking
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Clean, professional appearance
  • Experience is preferred but not required
  • Sense of humor mandatory
  • Bilingual in Spanish – not required but valuable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
