Bauer Infrastructure is looking for an Internal Accountant to work with the accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of accounting tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of accounting tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Job Highlights:
- Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- $20 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Great interpersonal skills including excellent attitude, willingness to learn, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
- Oversees accounts payable and assists with accounts receivable.
- Code & Route Invoices in Accounting software
- Organize invoices/statements for payment processing twice a month.
- Reconciliation of credit card statements and collection of receipts.
- Provide support with miscellaneous accounting procedures as assigned.
- Operate office equipment such as computers, audio/visual, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners.
- Must be able to discern priorities and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or related experience in accounting preferred.
- Word processing, writing, and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of software applications, such as Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Experience in Sage 300 Timberline preferred.
- Knowledge of Nebraska Department of Revenue sales and use tax laws for construction preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
