The primary function of the Manager, IT - Identity and Access Operations is to identify, investigate, resolve, and develop processes, procedures, and associated documentation related to how identity and access to systems are managed. Focuses on identity and access management aspects of information security and serves as a lead for managing all aspects of access control tools and identity management processes and technologies.
This role is a remote based role.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a champion for Identity and Access Management and provide leadership for standards development, governance, integrated change management, problem management, and stakeholder consensus brokering
- Oversee all the operational tasks required to provision and de-provision users, which includes the creation of user IDs, management of identity groups, granting access to various systems, and the deletion of IDs, removal or change of access when no longer needed
- Oversee the remediation of escalated service issues related to Identity and Access Management processes including managing the coordination of Identify Access Management audits and the recertification of system access reviews
- Develop processes, policies, tools, and solutions to increase the operational efficiency and effectiveness of identity, accounts, authentication, and access management with a focus on excellent user journeys or experiences
- Understand, follow, and implement enterprise access standards, baselines, security procedures, and related policies
- Support the daily application access management operations of the Identity and Access Management Security Administration Team
- Lead the program to define requirements and drive implementation of automate application provisioning.
- Utilize technical and business knowledge to support secure, risk-based practices, exercising judgment within broadly defined security practices and policies
- Ensure high quality of Access Management service delivery for our Identity and Access Management Center of Excellence
- Develop and direct IAM Security Administration team in the investigation and resolution of complex privacy, security, and access management problems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Equivalent work experience required
- 5 or more years of experience in the Information Security field
- Experience implementing and supporting IAM technologies in a large, complex environment that includes direct experience working with Identity Access Management provisioning, de-provisioning, and re-certification processes
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management lifecycle, concepts, and technologies.
- Prior experience in information security, governance oversight/methodology background
- 5 years minimum working knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of federated identity technologies, Active Directory Organizational Units (OU), groups and user attributes, and Group Policies
- Basic understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth and LDAP
- Ability to effectively guide others, model adaptability, and inspire strong organizational performance through periods of transformation, ambiguity, and complexity
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills; Ability to analyze information/data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to facilitate crucial conversations and influence stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal and group communication skills, including negotiation, ability to influence, strong presentation, motivational, change management and teaching skills.
- Strong consultation skills and experience coaching and mentoring.
