2nd Shift M-F 2pm - 10:30pm
Lead utility technician will be responsible for making sure that all SOPs are followed exactly as written and assist department in achieving all KOMs including the plant TRR goal. Lead will be responsible for direct technical and functional work of all utility employees on respective shift. Lead must be willing to work adjusted schedule including weekends. Ensure completion of shift’s assigned PM’s and other work orders, correctly and on time. A key responsibility is to interface with customers and ensure proper service is being provided by the shift. Assist in ensuring that proper procedures for planning and work orders are followed and assisting maintenance employees as needed. Assist supervisor by developing employees and monitoring performance.
Demonstrates ability to lead projects and/or work groups. Demonstrates ability to make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to coordinate projects and communicate results. Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment and a strong background it critical utilities. Must be a self-starter – work with minimal supervision. Computer skills: working knowledge of MP2, window-based programs and general PLC knowledge. Must have completed one of the Maintenance Process Certifications.
Complete personally assigned tasks and work orders. Address all Utilities area Work Orders and generate and distribute to proper utilities personnel for completion. Assist supervisor in employee development. Take readings and monitor Utilities equipment performance, perform adjustments if necessary to optimize equipment performance.
