SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for creating, implementing, and supporting the talent learning and development technological systems, infrastructure, framework, and strategies to support the organization. Provide administrative leadership and direction to maintain and advance Baxter Health's culture of excellence. Provide leadership and direction for all aspects of Magnet journey. Serve as the Magnet liaison between Baxter Health and the community. Provide oversight and leadership for the Nursing Division Shared Governance Nursing Division Councils (NDCs) and Unit Based Councils (UBCs). Provide leadership, direction and focus for nursing services, to maintain consistent levels of professional practice which meet or exceed standards of excellence. Collaborate with the VP/CNO and other nursing leadership to plan, develop, organize and implement structures, processes and programs to achieve excellence in professional nursing practice. Assist with special projects in nursing staff development and other professional practice activities.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health’s standards as they appear in Baxter Health's intranet Library.
Required to work with the Chief Nursing Officer, regularly to carry out, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Nursing Division.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas; BSN and Master’s degree in Nursing required. Five years in an advanced nursing leadership position preferably in a Magnet/JCAHO or Baldridge facility. Must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, excellent verbal and writing abilities, extensive computer knowledge and skills, and must be exceptionally detail oriented. Must possess a working knowledge of the health care industry and lead the provision of exemplary patient care. Must treat all individuals with respect and fairness, and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be accountable, a team leader, champion of change, flexible, proactive, and a facilitator. Membership and participation in professional nursing organizations expected. National certification in Nursing preferred.

This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Office staff: 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts

Salary : $50,100 - $63,400
