Your Role at Baxter :

Being part of Fabrications team, you will perform setup tasks and operate a variety of machinery including CNC milling machines, hand lathes, and single spindle automatic screw machines, which produce parts made of metals, alloys, and plastics.

What You'll Be Doing :
- Perform machine changeovers as scheduled by department management.
- Operate CNC machines.
- Perform parts verifications and quality checks, and record on associated documentation / specification sheets.
- Maintain tools and department equipment in good working order.
- Perform cleaning / 6S tasks in order to keep the department neat and organized.
- Follow safety, quality, and production protocols.
What You'll Bring :
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years of experience in CNC Machining desired.
- Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of hand measurement tools.
- Ability to manage and organize complex technical problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to details.
- Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, comparator, micrometers, and fixed gauges.
- Knowledge of GMP / manufacturing environment and regulatory compliance for medical devices.
Physical Demands :
- The worker is required to have natural or corrected near-distance visual acuity of 20 / 25.
- Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity.
- Dynamic Lifting capability : Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds at a time.
Work Environment :
This is a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA and many other work rules to prevent damage to the product we manufacture.
Some of those work rules include but are not limited to :
- Wearing safety glasses and steel toe boots at all times while on the production floor.
- Working in close proximity to other employees.
- Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $54,000 - $84,000 . The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position.
We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
