Job Duties:
- Primary job duties will be setting-up, assisting stack off personnel, recordkeeping duties and other production related jobs.
- Must be able to read and understand SOPs, Specs, and BOMs as they relate to job.
- Must be able to perform minor maintenance and assist in major maintenance repairs and changeovers.
- Must record daily department time reconciliation sheet, consisting of department number, name, date, shift, employee name
- Must record data on machine usage log and the daily production comment sheets
- consisting of line, machine numbers, codes, batch numbers, date, shift, time filled, batch, sign and date and etc
- Responsible for updating training manual when new employees enter the department and updating employee training manual.
- Must record data on the department activity record, consisting of department, standard crew, date, shift, line number, part number, batch, operation number, quantity produced, labor code, start and stop time.
- Must be able to accurately keep up with discards and the identification of discards.
- Must be able to perform back-up positions as required.
- Must work overtime as deemed necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the department
- Document all tasks as required by Specs and SOPs.
- Will be responsible for performing and documenting line clearances.
- Will insure that both plant and department safety rules are observed.
- Must perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
- Candidates must meet visual acuity requirements as documented in Baxter Cleveland visual acuity procedure CL-01-01-037.
- Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write and perform simple math.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must have basic knowledge of PC entry.
- Ability to use computer and calculator
- Must be able to use small hand tools.
- Ability to work in garbing situation.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous recordkeeper experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 75-100 lbs. Shoulder height.
- Good attendance.
