As a critical member of the North Cove team, the Senior Engineer plays a primary role incommission, installation, repair, and maintaining our production and associated utilities systems equipment. In this role within the engineering team, the SeniorMechanicalEngineer fills a key spot on the team and manages projects that ensure our maintenance equipment are consistent with world class operations.

• Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing.
• Support the manufacturing process, with projects to improve the quality, cost, and lean manufacturing.
• Support manufacturing in the installation of new processes.
• Comply & provide all corporate requirements.
• Develop, implement programs & practicesto 100% compliance withapplicablefederal,state,localandBaxterregulations&practices.
• Assure the execution of the maintenance programs.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead the zero-harm initiative at Baxter.

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• 3 years' experience in the following specialties: equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Understanding of structures and engineering evaluations, manufacturing equipment, packaging equipment, solution transfer systems, mixing vessel, and pressure vessels (boilers/steam).
• Ability to manage capital projects through appropriate contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of machine safety applications, maintenance systems, industrial processes, electrical systems, electrical wiring diagrams, safety, electrical code, and safety laws.
• Preference for experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers and servo drives.
• 6s, systems implementation.
• Knowledge of clean room applications is a plus

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
