Job Posting for Experienced Alarm Technician at BAY ALARM COMPANY

Position Summary: Install complete small security systems with minimal supervision, and explain installation to customer. Perform system alterations and additions, and service systems as required.

Job Duties:

Establish positive contact with customers.
Explain installation to customers.
Install systems in a timely manner and to company standards.
Run necessary system tests.
Process necessary documentation.
Provide assistance and on-the-job guidance to new hires.
Assist other technicians as required.
Provide 24-hour on-call support that may be required even on weekends and holidays.
All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1-2 years of alarm installation experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent communication & documentation skills required.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Basic knowledge of construction, electronic theory, and electrical wiring required.
Demonstrated ability to read maps and travel independently required.
Demonstrated ability to program, install, troubleshoot, and explain simple residential and commercial security systems required.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Final applicant will need to have the ability to pass a pre-employment screening process.
