Job Description:
External Courier
Collects, handles and delivers items between hospital departments and outside facilities
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
- Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision • Demonstrates the ability to read route schedules, specimen labels, and routing slips
- Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
- Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
- Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
- Current Oregon driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Basic knowledge of the Coos County area

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
