MilliCare® Floor & Textile Care provides Care Plans that extend beyond just carpet and textiles to include performance coatings, tile & grout care, general maintenance floor care, entryway systems, and protective care services, including odor neutralizer and fiber protection.
The lead technician is a senior technician performing service, able to engage customers and a keeper and educator of knowledge. The lead technician must be able to work in a team environment. The lead technician is responsible for estimating the amount of, and mixing floor maintenance chemicals prior to departing for a job and/or delegating those responsibilities. The lead technician will assign work areas within a customer’s facility to other members of the team and ensure the work is done correctly and within the amount of time budgeted by the operations manager. Once the work has been completed, it is the lead technician’s responsibility to walk the facility to verify the work is complete and exceptional.
Responsibilities
- Expert in the use of the array of MilliCare chemicals and cleaning tools and ability to demonstrate the MilliCare cleaning process for clients
- Good understanding of logistics of each account such as security, access to custodial closets, proper entry and exit, giving direction as to the game plan and approach to cleaning of the evening's facility(ies), ensuring security procedures as defined by the customer are followed
- The “go to” person for expert advice and troubleshooting of various challenges during a work shift
- Efficient time/work management to obtain desired results.
- Clock-in/out, immediate review and accurate completion of paperwork, mixing chemicals proper loading/unloading/inventory of equipment and chemicals on vehicles
- Quick assessment/trouble shooting of equipment
- Proper use of vehicles both driving and cleaning
- Uniform worn properly and in proper condition.
- Keeping the warehouse tidy/efficiently organized, daily/ongoing maintenance and cleaning of all used equipment, recording daily chemical usage, unloading of all equipment from vehicles post job, conducting ongoing maintenance of equipment
- Ability to hire and lead, grow, mentor, train, and develop top talented technicians
Qualifications

- Must have a valid California driver's license
- Must be able to legally work in California
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

- Comfortable working "swing shift" hours from 5PM to 1AM
- Background check and driving record will be checked
