What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift – Security Guard position at Bay Ltd.?
Night Shift Security Guard positions require the ability to work nights and weekends.
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company facilities during assigned work hours by patrolling the buildings, grounds, and assets.
| ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
- Logs traffic in and out of the facility.
- Answers phones and directs accordingly or records messages.
- Secure premises by patrolling the property assigned.
- Cary out intermittent security check schedule.
- Completes and submits logs to supervisor noting any issues, concerns, or findings during shift.
- Notifies law enforcement or other appropriate authorities of any situation requiring immediate or prompt attention.
- Validates personnel entering the facility.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
| EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS |
- High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent Work Experience

- Ability to follow security procedures.

- Ability to work night shift and weekends as required by the position
| PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
- Ability to work outdoors, exposed to heat and humidity, cold, and rain
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Ability to operate job related tools
- Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds
- Ability to frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions
