EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt
HOURS: 40 hours per week
COMPENSATION: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience), with opportunity for quarterly incentives.

SUMMARY:
The Account Manager (Production Division) is responsible for day-to-day communication with clients, generating sales proposals, managing projects, and ensuring that technical requirements are met for events. The Account Manager (Production Division) will also collaborate with in-house design and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of each project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but may not be limited to the following):

  • Responsible for audio-visual and lighting needs for incoming production calls, to include designing and producing live shows.
  • Responsible for closing and/or upsell of any incoming calls.
  • Responsible for proposal development, including the creation of the design plan, from the client’s ideas to the final product.
  • Responsible for the technical and creative requirements of a site survey
  • Involved in the logistics for subrentals and labor, if needed.
  • Responsible for preparing and coordinating orders with the warehouse for onsite efficiency purposes when needed.
  • Coordinating with production manager and/or client/venue representatives.
  • Delegating all tasks amongst appropriate personnel.
  • Responsible for programming, running and/or overseeing AV and lighting services and program throughout event.
  • Responsible for onsite customer relationship
  • Responsible for fulfilling the clients’ request while overwhelming them with the result, all profitably, and exceeding their expectations.
  • Responsible for generating revenue through sales efforts.
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing Bay Stage Live customers.
  • Responsible for raising awareness about Bay Stage Live and all divisions of our business, when faced with opportunities.
  • Responsible for researching, recognizing, and pursuing any potential clients by creating and maintaining new relationships.
  • Attending any networking events that seem necessary.
  • Assisting in Advertising/Marketing to support sales efforts
  • Converting prospective sales into Bay Stage Live business
  • Responsible for following all processes and execution of ALL orders, to include:
  • Entering complete customer information into Rental Point
  • Identifying customer’s needs and entering all requested items into Rental Point.
  • Complete customer communication, including quotes within deadlines.
  • Diligent follow up with customer to confirm or cancel order by must be confirmed by dates.
  • Impeccable and timely follow through
  • Follow up with all clients for feedback and appreciation after event has been executed.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date on new industry trends, equipment, standards, and competitors.
  • Recommends cutting-edge products and services to keep Bay Stage Live at the forefront of the industry.
  • Effectively communicating industry insights.
  • Other duties as assigned or required by the business.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field, preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience performing customer service and/or sales required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in account management, required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience as an Audio-Visual technician required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ professional experience with event planning and the entertainment business, required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Light to moderate physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities to include:

  • Working in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
  • Working outdoors in all forms of weather, including heat, cold, humidity, sun, or rain.
  • Using manual dexterity sufficient to handle/reach items and works with fingers.
  • Using close/distance/peripheral and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
