This Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst I to join our team! You will work closely with our finance team to support various financial analysis and reporting activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Analyze financial statements to assess and identify areas of improvement to determine financial performance of the organization
  • Assist in reporting and accounting process for Joint Ventures
  • Prepare reconciliations of internal accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, provide financial insights, and support operations
  • Provide ongoing budgeting forecasting support and analysis, including analysis of trends
  • Assist operations and leadership in strategic financial and business decisions by identifying and analyzing key financial metrics
  • Assist in the preparation presentations and reports for senior management, board of directors, and stakeholders to communicate financial findings and recommendations.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and audit requirements
  • Assist with insurance renewals and ongoing reporting requirements
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities and efficiencies, utilize system functionality and enhancements to streamline processes
  • Serve as support for project set-up and invoicing
  • Assist Financial Analyst II, as needed
  • Participate on special projects, as needed

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years of accounting and/or finance experience preferred
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while identifying and implementing ideas for improvement
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Experience working cross-functionally across business groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, financial analysis, and forecasting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate findings of complex analyses
  • High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Costpoint, Cognos, Power BI/Power Query or similar
