A growing reputable firm, Bayberry is seeking experienced and dedicated personnel to fill an open position in the design / management portion of the office. We are seeking individuals who possess high levels of enthusiasm and are self-motivated. Candidates should also have the ability to manage time effectively and strive to meet company goals.

  • All positions may require some weekend availability on occasion

ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

This unique position will assist the Principle Designer in a true design/build atmosphere with the development of preparation of construction proposals. This position will also participate in the execution of awarded contracts in addition to coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and vendors. The estimator/project manager will be responsible all take offs and project breakdowns. Some fieldwork may be required at times in order to assist the other divisions of the firm during significant plantings, plant sourcing, and/or layout. This position may also be expected to participate in business development and networking opportunities on occasion or as the position grows. During peak periods extended work days and weeks may occur in order to meet business needs. Lastly, this individual should be creatively and focused; enjoy being part of an expanding team; and open to putting in the extra effort when needed to see a project through.   • Design and Field experience preferred with 3-5 years of previous experience
  • Proven experience in AutoCAD along with Microsoft Office is required especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with LMN or other Business operation software highly encouraged
  • Interest in business development coupled with the ability to communicate with architects, contractors, vendors and residential clients.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills along with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and personally in both written and verbal forms of communication
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Interest and involvement in the development of built works from all levels including site layout, client interaction, plant tagging and selection, etc...
  • Candidate will need to be able to respond to critical requests, work within limited turnaround times, and quick deadlines on occasion
  • Familarity and experience using of technology/site tools Drones, Mosure, Laser, Zip Levels etc
  • Site visits, base plan generation, and involvement in the design/build process will round out the uniqueness of this position
