Systems Analyst - Information Technology HIM, Charges, and Billing

Responsibilities:

• The Systems Analyst under minimal supervision, provides customer support for Information Technology related issues in designated areas of the health system.
• Technical responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of customers daily operations to ensure superior technical support, identifying process improvements based on customer's needs and troubleshooting and providing client support for systems and applications.
• The Systems Analyst may participate in Project Management from inception to completion and performs other duties as assigned.
• Competent to work in most phases of systems analysis but may require guidance in others.
• An understanding of relevant technology, tools, and methods is required.
• A sound knowledge of at least one core technical area or business process is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 years of Systems Analysis, Design and/or Support, or 2 years experience required with a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field.

Preferred:

• Information Technology (IT) knowledge of healthcare systems: Cerner Millennium, Soarian, Invision, etc.
• IT Knowledge of healthcare areas: HIM, Charge processes, Billing, Patient Financial Services, Revenue Cycle.
• IT system configuration experience, problem solving acumen, small to medium size project leadership, strategic thinker who can also research and resolve IT detail/technical assignments.
