Summary:
Bayer Built Woodworks is looking to hire an Environmental, Health, and Safety professional to join their growing team. This position will be a part of ensuring continued compliance with Federal, State and local requirements, reporting and managing team member related injuries, building and implementing safety related training, and care for any administrative tasks related to the position. This position will be a part of a growing team that supports all of the environmental, health, and safety needs of our organization.
Pay Range: $64,200.00 - $85,000.00/annually. The rate is subject to experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with all local, state, and Federal regulations and ensure compliance
Create and facilitate training based on industry standards and best practices
Maintain and facilitate new team member orientation
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with written safety standards
Maintain and facilitate new team member orientation
Maintain team member files and paperwork as it relates to safety (testing, training, work comp, etc.)
Maintain safety policies and procedures and update team members as required by law
First report of Injury documentation
Report work comp and work-related information as needed
Coordinate and attend safety meetings
Schedule training for emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
Maintain OSHA record keeping
Collect and maintain records of discharge of or team member exposure to hazardous waste and or pollutants, as required.
Review, maintain and update Safety Data Sheets to ensure accuracy and availability for all team members
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend continuing education classes as it relates safety and policy changes and requirements
Assist in setting up orientation and safety requirements for new team members
Tours of facility for new team members
Maintain OSHA record keeping
Maintain team member files and paperwork as it relates to safety (testing, training, work comp, etc.)
Review, maintain and update Safety Data Sheets to ensure accuracy and availability for all team members
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Microsoft Suite including Excel (spread sheets & graphs), and Publisher
Skills to use computer and various software packages
Ability to establish priorities and work independently
Organizational Skills
Good Communication Skills
Credentials and Experience:
High School Diploma
Post-Secondary education
Continuing education as it relates training and communication
