Brand Manager
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Brand Manager, are to:
Establish and direct the development and implementation of the brand's marketing plans and budget and long-term financial plans to achieve the category's volume, profit and spending objectives;- Effectively plan to ensure that top line sales goals and bottom-line profit goals are met, by overseeing the execution of brand strategies through various functional departments, and external vendors, and by recognizing the profitability and revenue impact of all business opportunities;
- Partner with Innovation Director and Mangers to develop and execute 3–5-year New Product Development (NPD) strategy to support overall brand objectives;
- Manage, coach, and develop direct (if applicable) and indirect reports/junior Marketing staff, and cross functional peers. The Brand Manager will supervise his/her resources to achieve brand objectives, and clearly communicates standards of performance. This will be achieved through clear example of culture and values, council, balanced brand workload and appropriate delegation;
- Determine resource allocations across the brand to optimize overall brand performance, while anticipating risks to brand performance and ensuring that contingency plans are developed to manage through them. Manage and lead multiple external partners and consultants to produce consumer and professional communication strategies and executions in line with the brand strategy;
- Manage and lead multiple cross functional teams, including Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), Technical Operations, Market Research, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Consumer Promotion, etc. to execute brand initiatives and implement plans. The Brand Manager will also need to ensure the brand strategy is communicated, understood and implemented by all cross functional groups;
- Support the Integrated Business Plans that not only deliver on annual and longer-term financial objectives, but also protect brand equity and enhance brand health;
- May manage more junior Brand Managers, will be responsible for recruiting and developing their skills.

Required Qualifications:
BS/BA degree;- Build effective teams, cultivate innovation, learning and change agility, customer focus, action oriented/drives results, collaborate globally and locally, plan and align, drive stakeholder engagement, effectively manage suppliers;
- Excellent financial management skills to critically and objectively assess programs and investments versus results. Ability to streamline operational processes and drive efficiency through the use of technology, with excellent problem solving skills;
- Superior analytical ability, assessing different models and related outputs. Experience with business forecasting a plus. Potential to assess and react to complex technical information;
- Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to create an environment that encourages innovation and risk taking. ability to engage in positive/productive debate with the leaders of key internal constituent groups. Ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders;
- Take activist ownership of bottom line, and has experience owning Line of Business (L.O.B.) budgets and results. Strategic management, planning, and execution abilities, including ability to focus on the "bigger picture".
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA degree (MBA desirable) plus 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a Consumer Product Goods (CPG)/healthcare environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
