HR Time and Attendance Analyst
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, HR Time and Attendance Analyst, are to:
- Monitoring and trend analysis of time data to provide support to the businesses in work force planning and management, policy compliance and strategy planning and to ensure delivery of quality HR Ops customer service;
- Provide analysis and support in resolving complex time issues including proactively administering data quality audits to reduce the risk of payroll issues/errors for employees;
- Own data analytics activities to support Policy and Compliance teams in strategic policy decisions and monitoring policy compliance;
- Lead new/customized reporting solutioning with tools like Tableau, Spotfire, Excel expertise, etc.;
- Analyze time and attendance data to review/respond on questions from employees, managers, legal, business partners and external
- inquiries/audits;
- Identify, provide recommendations and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance delivery of time and attendance services to Bayer employees;
- Key liaison for sr. management data insight requests and reporting needs;
- Ensure adherence with Bayer policies, as well as all US Federal, State and Local regulatory compliance requirements as it relates to time and attendance activities;
- Stay current on internal & external policies, legal & legislative/ regulatory agencies impacting time/attendance activities and analyze pay and details on employee statements to ensure compliance;
- Interpret policy, articulate requirements to IT and support testing;
- Partner with IT and 3rd party provider for time system upgrade testing;
- Establish and maintain strong partnership and communication with HR; Business Partners, Legal, and other HR direct process teams while supporting HR initiatives;
- Assist Team Lead in development, preparation and delivery of value added reports and metrics on time/attendance activities to support businesses in strategic employment initiatives;
- Monitor employee time/attendance records for inconsistencies and provide guidance for correction process to appropriate teams;
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned;
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of SNOW document front office communications and all process documents related to time/attendance activities;
- Actively participate and/or lead projects as required.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years overall HR, Finance and/or Accounting experience;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel expertise), experience with Tableau, Spotfire and/or other reporting software;
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, glean insights and present them in an understandable format to all levels of the organization;
- Understanding of employment law and regulatory guidelines related to labor practices and time/attendance activities;
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently to accurately meet deadlines with ability to also partner on projects/key deliverables;
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data to identify and resolve issues; well-developed problem solving skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information and adhere to data privacy and internal compliance requirements;
- Strong organizations skills with the ability to manager multiple priorities, work under pressure and maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced, deadline driven environment;
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills;
- Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary;
