Library Information Specialist II

What We Are Looking For:
The Law School’s Library is seeking an organized and motivated candidate to fill the Library Information Specialist II role. This role will support the Law School Library with day-to-day operations and responsibilities, ensuring the Law School Library is running efficiently. 

An Associate degree, 1 years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Bachelors degree, 2 years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are preferred.

Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do:

• Shared responsibility to occupy administrative office to receive deliveries, sort departmental mail, answer phone calls, and assist library users.
• Assist in maintaining consistent spacing for items, including shifting materials as needed.
• Help oversee photocopier, make service calls when necessary.
• Assist in hiring, training, and supervising student workers to help keep resources current.
• Assist Law Library Director with various projects, including the preparation of statistical reports.
• Check in serials, other library items, and arrange for filing of loose-leaf services.
• Property stamp, shelve and route serials.
• Replace pocket parts and other updates for bound volumes.
• Prepare periodicals for binding and process upon their return.
• Check in microfiche and arrange for filing and maintain the microfiche holdings. 
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
• Possess Ability to comply with Baylor University policies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
