JOB SUMMARY

  • The Financial Advisor I performs financial study for Baylor Health Care System (BHCS) and the entities supported by Financial Study/Conclusion Support Services.  Assists in the collection and study of data on new projects or services, capital acquisitions and long-range strategic financial planning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Performs investigation of financial and operational data to support management conclusions including impact on current operations and projections of future impact.
  • Participates in performance/process improvement goals of BHCS.
  • Performs investigation of financial and operational data to support management conclusions including impact on current operations and projections of future impact.
  • Collects and analyzes data from the appropriate sources and prepares various financial reports to update management on current financial results.
  • Identifies significant variances and performs adequate research to fully explain the business purpose and causes of variance.
  • Develops best practices for data collection and analyses current processes so that they may be improved.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date historical documentation of trend analysis and forecast assumptions and data compilation process.
