What we need:
We're currently seeking full-time experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Health is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

This is a 38 bed Telemetry Monitored Nursing Unit. Working on 5 North gives you the unique opportunity to work with both Adults and Geriatrics. Working on 5 North, you can expect your clinical skills to become greater than ever imagined due to the high acuity of patients which include:
- Post ICU Trauma patients (serious injury to 2 or more body systems)
- Traumatic Intra-Thoracic injury
- Traumatic intra-abdominal injury
- Traumatic Complex Fractures
- Patients with impaired respiratory status
- Traumatic Wounds
- Complex Cholecystectomy and Appendectomy
- Bariatric Surgery
- Colorectal Surgery - bowel malignancies, inflammatory bowel disease
- Thoracic Surgeries- lobectomy, Esophagectomy
- Vascular surgery
- General surgery
- Graduate of RN School of Nursing
- ADN required
- Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
- Functions competently and effectively under pressure and emergency situations
