What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Revenue Cycle Improvement Consultant (Remote) position at Baylor Scott & White Health?
The Senior Revenue Cycle Improvement Consultant identifies, plans, leads and implements revenue cycle solutions for Baylor Scott & White Health. The Senior Revenue Consultant works with (BSWH) revenue cycle departments including, but not limited to, Access Services, Centralized Business Services, and the Denial Resource Center to improve operation efficiency and revenue.
Below are the essential functions for the role.
- Manage strategic Baylor Scott & White Health revenue cycle projects to enhance revenue and drive cost reductions. Oversight may include vendor selection, assessment, contracting, design, and implementation
- Lead revenue cycle departments in the analytical components of workflow redesign. Identify, create and implement improvement solutions for revenue cycle departments
- Lead revenue cycle activities including, but not limited to, technology planning, staffing assessments, operational improvement strategies and workflow optimization.
- Analyze and identify trends in revenue cycle operations; use data to develop recommendations and implement process redesign solutions
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of revenue cycle operations and project management experience with strong communication, analytical, organizational and implementation skills. Healthcare consulting experience is preferred.
- Shift/Schedule - Monday-Friday role, remote position, project based work (but lots of interaction with stakeholders take place during office hours)
