Responsibilities

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is looking to hire a Work Strategies Specialist/Athletic Trainer. The WorkStrategies Specialist is responsible for the delivery of the continuum of WorkStrategies prevention services, specifically the WorkStrategies OnSite Program. This position assists in increasing revenues, through providing high-quality injury management, prevention and ergonomic services and maximizing center based WorkStrategies services when available. This position provides WorkStrategies services to City of Fort Worth Water Utilities staff.

Job Duties:

• Deliver WorkStrategies prevention services at assigned Prevention services include, but are not limited to:
  • WorkStrategies OnSite program
    • Advanced Early Symptom Intervention
    • New Hire Training
    • Return to Work
    • Movement Assessments
    • Preventative exercise prescription
    • Body mechanics/behavior audits
    • Wellness coaching
• WorkRisk / WorkTask Analysis
• WorkStation Analysis
• Worksite Education programs
• Center Based ESI
• Driver Ergo Assessments
  • Pre-placement and/or Post offer testing
• Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for services listed above
• Facilitate regular communication with clients for the purposes of assisting with relationship development and program review
• Assist in addressing client concerns
• Facilitate regular communication with market leadership for purposes of reporting WS Prevention activity
• Participate in CEU Education Programs
• Travel and reliable transportation is required
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licenced Athletic Trainer State of Texas required
• BOC certification preferred.
• At least 3 years experience in public safety, military, high-level athletics or industrial setting required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required and offered complimentary by BSW Rehab.
