What We Are Looking For
The Baylor BizLAB seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to support our clients. This is an opportunity to leverage the strengths and resources of Baylor University to help our clients grow their businesses, utilizing teams of student interns with backgrounds in business and communication disciplines. This role will work with the Sales Manager and Director of BizLAB to create and deliver marketing solutions for our varied and diverse client-base.
This role is ideal for a recent college graduate, comfortable in an early-stage and fast-growing startup environment and is motivated to help others succeed. Experience in content creation, marketing across a variety of mediums, and a desire to impact students is imperative for success in this role.
A Bachelor's degree, recent graduate and up to two years experience (including internships), and a Christian faith are required. Experience will not be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
- Ability to create and design content for email, paid search, and other advertisements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of the different needs of our clients, faculty, staff, employees, and industry partners.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and other tools directly involved in sales and marketing efforts.
- Ability to function independently and at a high level.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
What You Will Do
- Join a small team focused on delivering tangible value for companies operating in many industries, locations, and stages of growth.
- Develop best practices, utilizing technology, to manage marketing efforts.
- Provide project management for marketing campaign efforts.
- Work directly with clients to craft marketing strategies that align with objectives of their BizLAB engagements.
- Coordinate with Sales Manager and monitor marketing and sales funnels to measure customer engagement success and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with Sales Manager to develop systems and tool-based solutions to support clients’ needs including but not limited to CRM, website, out-bound marketing, etc.
- Engage in weekly/monthly client meetings to showcase efforts and outline success.
