Position Summary: The Hotel Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to quality, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel premises and equipment.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of hotel equipment and furnishings.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel systems and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform maintenance tasks.
