What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS Technician, PRN (Franklin, LA) position at Bayou Bend Health System?
An Environmental Services Technician performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, hallways, offices, waiting rooms, supply and equipment rooms and other assigned areas of the hospital.

- A PRN EVS tech may work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- The position requires working in offsite clinics at times.
- Must know which cleaning materials and equipment to use for each specific cleaning task, as well as submitting reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor on a regular and timely basis.
- Fill-in for the laundry workers when they are off.
NOTE: THIS IS A PRN POSITION (AS NEEDED) NO GAURENTEED AMOUNT OF HOURS
DESIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- High School or G.E.D., preferred
- 1 year experience in a hospital, nursing home or other institutional facility.
