LVN Treatment Nurse

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN Treatment Nurse to join our team at Bayshire San Dimas. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform physical examinations and record patient medical histories
- Assist with procedures such as venipuncture, spinal taps, and phlebotomy
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with the coordination of patient referrals and follow-up care
- Provide compassionate care to patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments

Experience:
- Must be a licensed vocational nurse in the state of California
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficient in performing physical examinations, administering medications, and assisting with medical procedures
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
