This is a full-time position. We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper. Our ideal candidate is meticulous, a problem solver, familiar with several accounting software packages, and has a sense of humor.

Responsibilities
- Review and correct day to day financial transactions
- Journal credit card transactions into the General ledger
- Verify and process accounts payable
- Enter data, maintain records, reports and financial statements
- Verify and process accounts receivable
- Review and correct employee time cards
- Calculate employee commissions
- Track purchase orders and department budgets
- Bank deposits
- Assist the Controller and Managers with various projects
Skills
- Proven accounting experience
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Ability to create formulas and tables in Excel
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- AS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
