Manufacturing Associate

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $52,000 - $58,200 per year

Location: Novato, CA - Onsite Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate large-scale bioprocess equipment for Cell Culture and Purification operations.
• Prepare Buffer and Media solutions.
• Perform all processing aspects, including preparation of equipment, disassembling equipment, assembling process equipment, performing CIP and SIP of equipment, performing pressure tests of equipment, performing I Testing of filters, calibration, and using analytical equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or engineering
• Associate's degree in a science-related field or Biotech certificate with 2 years of experience in a biotech manufacturing environment or other regulated industry
• Knowledge of biotech manufacturing processes and equipment, including cell culture, depth and tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, protein purification and formulation, and buffer and media operations
• Display competency with process equipment and automated control systems
• Proficiency with compliance; adherence to standard operating procedures, batch record, good documentation practices, and data capturing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment with good conflict resolution and collaboration
• Displays good initiative to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

Physical Requirements:

• This role consists of strenuous, repetitive work.
• Bending, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, and making numerous equipment connections using hands will be required.
• Independently be able to lift, dispense, push and pull items with an average weight of 25 pounds.
• Work around loud equipment.
• Using personal protective equipment will be required.
• Requires various shift-based work and off-hours
