To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will go through a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team. Great for new grads!
Previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage recent hygiene grads to apply as well, as we have the support and guidance to help new grads feel comfortable and successful. The Hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of MA. New grads must be applying for license soon.
Responsibilities:
- As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in improving the oral health of our patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about their dental work and dedicated to providing the highest level of care at all times.
- As a Dental Hygienist, you will have the opportunity to provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education under limited supervision. You will follow guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which you work, showcasing your expertise and professionalism.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to contribute to the team.
