Position available: Position available for a Full Time Porter (7am - 3:30pm). Must be available to work one weekend date (either Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday)
Willing to Train!!
We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.
Our dedicated team takes the health and safety of all of our employees and residents very seriously through the protocols we’ve implemented to prevent or reduce transmission of Covid-19.

Essential job duties:
- Receives all perishable and non-perishable deliveries from suppliers (food and non-food supplies). Verifies that all items on invoices have been received and are in good condition
- Unpacks and puts stock away according to HACCP standards ensuring that all products are properly rotates and stored on the correct shelf, in the proper storage room according to temperature, and dating of items.
- Lifts heavy cases of canned goods, meats, fish, dairy, and other Food Services products on a daily basis when stocking and restocking shelves
- Maintains sanitary conditions by removing all food items from walk-in refrigerators to wash down walls, shelves, and floors on a scheduled basis
- Sweeps and mops floors in the dairy, vegetable, and meat walk-in refrigerators daily
- Removes garbage, separates trash and places it in containers. Cleans or hoses out garbage cans
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to stand/walk up to 100% of the work day
- Work is moderate to heavy, involving frequent lifting of equipment or food supplies
- Considerable bending, walking, reaching, twisting and crouching
