Job Summary:
The Purchasing Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties for the purchasing department.
Responsibilities:
· Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
· Matching purchasing documents.
· Filing
· Updating Excel spreadsheets.
· Calling suppliers.
· Working with inventory and logistics teams.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.
· Ability to type 40 words per minute.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least two years of clerical experience preferred.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
